Volunteer with Soldiers' Angels to Supply Low-Income Veteran Families with Food Assistance at the Mobile Food Distribution

Soldiers' Angels is proud to be hosting a mobile food distribution on Friday, October 9, 2020 for low-income veterans and their families from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to assist with this event. to assist with this event.

This volunteer opportunity requires standing, lifting and bending. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. This event is held outside, regardless of weather.

When: Friday, October 9, 2020 from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
Credit will be given for travel time along with time given for service. This is considered healthcare service hours.

Requirement Details

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
