Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest

About

Our 14 modern retail stores located throughout the Inland Northwest support our programs and services while offering fun and practical bargains for shoppers of every income level. When neighbors donate gently used items, those become treasures for others. Sometimes referred to as "the original recycler," Goodwill annually keeps 10 million lbs. of material out of the waste stream, just in the Inland Northwest. We have special programs for recycling metal, books, and shoes, as well as clothing and textiles we cannot re-sell. Goodwill also participates in Washington's electronics recycling program, operated at no cost to taxpayers. Goodwill helps motivated individuals build independence and achieve their dreams through more than 25 different, individualized programs. Workforce & Family Services operates throughout the Inland Northwest. Pre-employment Services help people prepare for work, learning a new skill, gaining self-confidence, and completing testing and assessments to find out where they would succeed. Job Placement Services assist individuals in developing a resume and interview skills and finding good matches through job search, assisted by Goodwill. Specialized Programs help individuals and families meet needs ranging from mentoring at-risk children to payee services for people receiving public assistance and needing help managing their finances
