Description
The community engagement intern will assist the department in planning themed events at our sporting events that will provide youth and others an opportunity to engage in positive activities, while getting a glimpse of the college experience.  The intern will partner with the department's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) on a community engagement and service initiatives. On game days, our community engagement interns will assist with receiving our community honorees and ensure that they are enjoying themselves and have opportunities to meet athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, etc. during pregame and or post-game activities. Lastly, interns will assist with building funding sources to provide a robust community engagement experience.
